Taking care of your sunglasses is mandatory
Often times a perfect pair of sunglasses can become useless after a short period of time due to lack of proper care. Carelessness can lead to frames being bent or broken, or perhaps the lenses getting scratch. Once something like this takes place, replacement of the glasses is almost imperative. By taking care of your sunglasses, costly replacements or fixes do not have to transpire.
An excellent way to protect your sunglasses while not in use is with a case or sunglasses bag such as a microfiber bag. This will keep the glasses safe from being scratched or broken as well as a great place to keep them so they won’t be lost. In addition, it is important to clean the lenses on a regular basis. Dust and fine dirt can be a disaster for sunglasses. Simply using warm water and a lint free cloth can adequately clean the lenses without hurting them, however there are lens-cleaning solutions on the market that work as well.
Also, make sure you regularly tighten the screws on the frames. If they become loose, the glasses will no longer fit well and may come apart. Finally, avoid leaving your sunglasses in direct sunlight for long periods of time. If stored unprotected in direct sunlight, the heat may cause the film on the lenses to peel and some extreme cases the frames may actually warp. Protect your eyes and investment with proper sunglass care.
Next time you are shopping for a new pair of sunglasses you should consider looking at the all the discount dealers and wholesale ones. This little extra effort can save you more money.
